Ok i know everyone has heard story after story about this bike i have.
Well the last time it broke down , my step dad took it to this honda mechanice he knows and he fixed it. When i got it back the bike was like brand new started right up at 1:30 in the morning in like 40 degree weather. I started to ride it home and decied to get on it a little bit because last time it wouldnt get passed 100mph with out braking up in the throttle. Well know it feels like a BREAND NEW bike like if i bought it in 95 but slower then the day i got it. And there is flames shooting out my exhaust every time i run her past 9 or 10 grand and let her just come down in any gear. And my uncle said it smelled like it was running rich. An befor i picked it up my step dad said it needs a jet kit. Could this be it. And he said it would be faster when i jet it. and are the flames bad????

Any ideas on what jet kit to get i dont know whats in it. PICS SOON.

yes could possiably be a sign of running rich and needing to rejet.jet kit is ALWAYS a good investment.a jet kit comes with a few different things main jets ,New springs,E-Clips,and fuel needles.Jetting it wont just make it faster but it will help in Overall performance period.this will be something you gotta take to a professional unless know how to do this to get the settings right when installing.And no the flames arent bad.nothing to worry about.But most likely is a sign of you running rich and would need a jet kit.you can never go wrong with a jet kit
