Hi guys I have a 1998 CBR 600 F race bike.

Im going to be putting a new fairing on for next season and have come across this bike that has a CBR 600RR (2004 i think) race fairing on.

This bike is actually a 1991, believe it or not, and I want the same look for my bike next season.

Im just wondering if anyone has fitted a new 600RR race fairing to an older CBR before and if so how hard was it?

there was a member on here who did the 600rr fairing swap on his F2 (i believe it was an F2) i cant remember the members name, but im sure if you search for a thread about it, it'll come up

SICK bike IMO

1st step.

Bike stripped off fairing and tank.

 

Wheels out now and off to be sprayed.

Next job is getting the forks out to be sprayed and will so seals and internals while I have them off the bike.



Team shirts arrived for next season too so put that on too! :-)

 

Forks out, handle bars off.

Forks off to be sand blasted and sprayed.

 

Front forks polished and back in the bike.

Front fairing bracket is off to be welded at the moment.
