First ride on new bike
 

Well it stopped raining and warmed up a bit today, so I took the bike out for a first ride. I think I got a good deal. The bike seems very quick and does not have any issues. I did not exactly thrash the thing first time out; but I like the way it leaps off the corners. The micron exhaust sounds really good. I'm a happy boy!

I took the bike out into the Pine Barrens of central New Jersey. Nice roads with sweeping bends. It was not too cold, so I was able to go for a pretty long ride before I got really cold and decided to call it a day. The dirt road was not part of my ride. It leads to the cranberry bogs that the bike is photographed in front of. Ocean Spray gets a good percentage of their berries from this area of New Jersey.

Thanks. I really like the color. Today when I cleaned the bike, I noticed some scratches that I didn't pay much attention to when buying the bike. There were repairs done and I concentrated my attention on that aspect and not the cosmetic issues. Might have to do some touch-up. Either that or just photograph the bike from the right side. lol
