95-98 models are interchangeable.

The 97-98 seat and tail section must be used together - they do not swap with previous 95-96. If you do the tail swap, you'll need the undertray kit that goes with the 97-98 as it is different as well.

As for fairings, the general rule is stick with a single type (fiberglass, plastic, etc.) and a single manufacturer if possible. They generally don't like to line up when you use fiberglass-to-plastic, mix-and-match fairings.

There is a seller on eBay that sells complete fairing kits, "Mung88." His are the only ones I've seen in person and they look great and hold up. He is a bit more expensive than the other Hong Kong sellers, but I've heard things about the other kits that I wouldn't want to experience. Like I said, I've seen his stuff, I haven't seen the others.

Good luck, glad you got the CCT solved. It sounds nice, eh?

I forget what year your bike is, but fairings are the same for the '97-'98 (most streamline of the F3s) and I think that the F2s are the same from 93-96 (65-96 F3 plastic looks the same as F2) I may be wrong on the Early F3 but it goes for sure 93-94, 95-96, 97-98. With the right imagination, you could put whatever plastic on that you want.

Stay away from the F2's if you prefer to option your own turn signals.

F2's had the front signals molded into the upper fairing, I personally don't like the look, but... Also, the rear on the F2'sare the same on the 95-96 model F3's - which is ugly. Get a 97-98 rear and 95+ on the front/sides. That'll be your best bet. Or a complete set of 97-98 fairings (you'll stillneed the seat and undertray set from the 97-98 model).

Have fun! Haha, I remember when I did my F3, take a look!

https://cbrforum.com/m_287363/tm.htm I did exactly what I'm telling you to do, lol. It can be a paint in the *** tracking down the misc. parts, but man it's worth it.

where the left side fairingconnects to the upper front fairng , right next to the tank the tab where the screw locks them down is broke off, and the tank lost some paint. There kind ofsittingthere , its not very noticable but altogether it doesnt look like tight fit like before. The front fairing has a 5' inch semi crak not all the way threw but very noticable no paint there. and mostly has scratches throught out the left side, mirrors look beat up . i really cleaned it up today and since its bright blu the dings and scratches stick out.
