Hi Land warrior do you have any photos with the rear fairing on? i just want to see what the bum looks like with the new ride height.

How does it handle as well? good better or worse?

im really interested as to how the rear make the overall handling of the bike change....
you said you changed the front to 15weight to even it up???

having the bike so stiff for city driving aint that good is it?
(im just used to cars and stiff means less grip =when braking and in the rain....)

im i wrong???

Handeling is way better as you dont bounce up and down forever.
The reason why i changed it was to raise the rear a bit which will make for faster turn in and also new F4i shock is a bit stiffer but not alot. You can always soften the damping if its too hard.
I use my bike mostly for racing and track days, so when im on wets i just soften front and rear to get a bit more traction on bumpy track and compesate for any mistakes i might make on the track (been rough or not smooth some times).
Was riding it on the road for ages as well and no problem.
Its not gonna be like with no suspension at all and as i said ye can always play with the settings a bit. All and all its a good shock for the money.

Stiff doesnt always means less grip. It all depends how bumpy the road is and how grippy the surface is.
If you are braking very hard your forks will ompress rapidly, so if suspention is too soft they will buttom out and you will be in all sorts of problems. However, if suspention is set up correctly (sag/damping) and your forks dont buttom out you still have suspention play to compensate for any bumps while still braking hard.
A bit different for the rear, as if you r braking hard and the rear is too hard most likely it will end up in the air, and then again if the rear is too soft you will be alover the plaice whie cornering on a bumpy road.
So set your sags (front and rear) and then adjust the damping ( i do it by sitting on the bike and then jumping on the seat, what you want is for the rear to come up promptly to the point where it was before you jumped on it and not too much higher and which will eliminate "bouncing" effect. Same fith the front, set sag for your weight and then while holding the front brake push on the handle bars as hard as you can and adjust damping in the way so the forks come back up promptly but not much higher from the original position and you get as little of "bouncing" effect as posible).
give me a shout if more info needed. Think some youtube tutorials available there as well.
