ebay you can usually snag one in good shape for 80-120 bucks... however many people mislabel them things like "upper frame" or "gauge mount" and those can go as low as 20.00 because no one sees them.

are f2 and f3 upper fairing stays interchangeable?

I don't think so. unless you went to f2 fairings but if you were going to try and put an f3 upper fairing on then you need the same stay

how bad bent is yours? you'd be surprised what you can do with a hammer and a good set of pliers

there bent about a half to 3 quarters out of line on the bottom thick rail. im afraid if i bent it back i would just tweak the other side

Sounds like you can't really make it any worse so why not give it a swing?

so i have a buddy with a non running vfr i know the forks will work can i use his guages and stay too?
