Default f3 under seat exhaust

Hi guys, just putting the feelers out too see whats involved.
I have an f3 which will go through a rebuild, but I would like to do an underseat exhaust conversion.
would I need the rr swing arm, to run the exhaust behind the rear set, and is it compatible with the f3.

hey man,

well i've got a link pipe that runs straight back behind the riders foot, before curving back under the tail. difficult to explain, i'll see if i've got a pic but it's like an adapted high mount in terms of routing. it's a not a clean way of doing it but i like the metalwork on show.

^ that's the style of link pipe i've got, pic on the previous owners bike. i'm waiting to finish a tail swap before experimenting with it.

there was a guy who ran two smaller pipes from the collector up either side of the shock at in front of the swingarm to an under tail exhaust, you might be able to find pics if you search hard enough but with the amount of pics unavailable due to photobucket holding the internet ransom chances are its gone.

or like you said you could fit something like the 600/1000rr swingarm or maybe vfr 750 swingarm if you wanted to go single sided which would allow routing to the left of the right rearset.

i dont think too much fabrication is involved with the 600rr swap but i've only ever seen pics of it done. just need to make sure you try stick to a similar swingarm angle. there is info out there for those who hunt hard enough but really it's all trial and error.

Looks like a good bump in the road the tire would get into the muffler.
