whats wrong with puttin a turbo on a 600?

Its just alot of money, time and problems to be able to keep up with a litre bike.

If you like the size of the 600 bikes but want the power of a liter bike, Get a 954. Its more reliable, will work right away (no two years of tinkering to get it right) and also fuel injected so no hesitation when you hit the gas.

If you want something that will be a complete money pit and pretty much never run right, handle like crap due to all the extra weight, and be loud enough to piss off every cop you see. Then turbo your f3. In the end it probably still won't have the power of a 954.

So you dropped it off at a scrap yard because you couldn't figure it out?! Hell I would have paid you the shipping for the parts.

There was a guy that put a turbo on a F3 on this site or cbrworld a few years ago. He said he could barely keep the front wheel down in fourth or fifth gear so he took it off. To much power would make it unrideable but it might make for a fun drag bike project.

regardless of how the sarcasm strikes you, this is straight-up sound advice and you should give it serious consideration.

A carb bike and a 600cc.... turbo... equals a money pit.
