Rode to Victoria from Calgary (canada), about 650 miles each way. Plus a bunch of touring while on the island. 650 in a day on the way back was a bit rough on the backside.

Grab yourself a tank bag full of socks with a clear top for your GPS (I got an Icon Urban), and a lambskin seat cover to soak up the swamp-***. It's like riding a pillow.

Oh, and install a USB port on your bike to charge your stuff:

I did 750 on mine in a day from the UK to the south of France for work. Comfy for most parts but walked like John Wayne for a day or two.

4800 mile round trip from UK to Pizzo Italy. Via Amsterdam and Germany. Return trip via Monaco. Trip up from Monaco to Paris on the E74 mountain pass road was the most fantasic piece of road ive ever ridden in one day.

All done in 10 days. Wouldnt like to try UK to S France like pontyhufc mind.

3000 miles from Las Vegas, NV to Delaware just last month. I did it in 62 hours. Not bad considering I just started riding in Febuary (ok maybe a little insane). By the time I got there I needed new tires, a new chain and sprockets, and an oil change. I took it in to figure out what it was going to cost me. They offered me $2000 to trade it in on a $6500 Suzuki Gladius. I took the deal and drove the new bike back. I kind of miss the F3 already though. The gladius needs more power.
