F3 forks same as F2 forks?

I'm looking for a new fork for my '98 F3 and I've found someone locally parting a '94 F2. I believe that the F2's used the same forks as the F3 but I'm not 100% sure.
Can someone confirm or deny this, preferably quickly? I'd like to jump on these if they will work.
BTW is $100 a good deal for a pair of forks?

You can use the fork tube upper,so long as the F2 fork is a cartridge fork, not a dampening rod fork. The 94 F2s came with cartridges. But be certain that you're looking at a cartridge fork.No telling if someone might have "swapped it out" somewhere along the way.
Now,what exactly are you trying to accomplish? The more clear you are,the more I can help.

The uppers and internals will fit into the lowers if that is what you are looking for. The internals of the F3 WOULD fit, but there is a small ring on the inside that won't allow them to fit. I just had both sets apart to swap parts over because my uppers were bent. I thought about cutting the ring out, but didn't want to risk it.
The lowers will not match up with your F3 brakes though. You have to use the F3 lowers.

I've got a bad seal on my right fork. Frankly I don't feel like screwing around with replacing the seals since I've had NO luck finding any info on how to do it or what parts I need. I'm planning on selling this bike to help fund an upgrade to a newer CBR in the near future so I'm not looking to put any more work into it than I need to.

Replacing seals is easy. There are F3 manuals floating around that show everything step by step.
Here is a link to a manual
