Hey I am wondering if anyone knows if a headlight assembly from an f4 (NOT F4i!) would bolt straight on to the f3 with no (or maybe little) modification. Or if it would even fit through the plastic with none or little modification and how it might look. I am gonna do a projector retrofit soon, and am really wondering how it will perform through the "unclear" lens (ridges/lines/whatever they are). Thus the inquiry in f4 clear lensed headlight.
If someone has an F4 or F4 headlight could you be so kind as to get me some dimensions of it?!
Lookin for bolt pattern dimensions from bolt to bolt, and the lens dimensions. See attached pic.

 

Ever figure out the answer? I have an F2 with a 55 watt 3000k motorized hid installed, but it still sucks riding at night. Have Bi-xenon in my car and want the same output on my bike. I am looking at a single (don't beleive charging system could handle dual at idle) EVO X-R with a 55 watt morimoto hid. But putting a projector behind the fluted lens would be a waste of time. F4 headlight with its clear lens would make a good platform to retrofit.
