Some rumors say you can interchange the two frames some say you can't.
My question is can you?

Yes you can, I have a complete 1995 cbr f3 mounmted on to a 1991 F2 frame, and I mean COMPLETE. the only thing F2 in my bike is the frame.

Sweet! This is good to know for future preference. I suppose you had to use F3 fairing brackets. I also suspect the F2 frame has a bit more wait to it.
