Will forks off a 91' work on a 95' I keep reading you must change wheels, calipers, etc to make work.

I know for sure that the fender mounts are diffrent between them. As for the caliper, that would make sence because the F2 rotors are diffrent than the F3. A side note, I believe that the '91 is going back to the F1 series.

 

That and they don't work as well as the F3 does.

 

My piece of mine is that, it won't work at all. Why downgrade? Why not upgrade or stay with catridge forks? You will suffer in both braking and performance doing that change.

Well I was not going out of my way to downgrade I'm just putting this 95' back togather and found a tweak in 1 of the tubes for the 95' forks so I was thinking of stealing the forks and the front wheel etc off my 91' parts bike if they would interchange I don't have a wheel or rotor set for the 95' either.

 

Well, if you have all the parts on hand, you may as well giver a try. I just hate the way the F2 fender looks.

You can have the fork tubes straightened,providing there are no creases.
