Default F2 to F3 compatibilty?

Does anyone know if the lowering link from an F2 are the same dimensions as the F3? There's a lowering link for sale from an F2 that is turnbuckle style adjustable (from Soupy's Perf. probably) on Craig's List that I'm interested in! Thanks for any help!

Thanks for the advice, I'm not remembering what that gold V-shape link looks like but I'll peek under my bike! I only need (or want 1" max. of lowering), do you have any idea how much it lowers the bike?
