Exhaust - to jet or not to jet?

Exhaust - to jet or not to jet?
I have a 98 CBR600 F3 all stock except for D & D slip on pipe. Since the pipe has been installed, there has been a change in idle RPM - constantly fluxuating between a couple hundred RPM's even though the idle is set at stock. If left as is - any ideas if it will cause damage to the bike (engine, etc.), or should I consider installing a jet kit?
Has anybody else had this problem and did the jet kit fix the problem, or any other ideas on how to fix?
Also - anybody know of good jet kits that are easy install?

RE: Exhaust - to jet or not to jet?
You did not say if you had a k&n or equivelent. With just a slip on its not a must but most bikes do benefit from a jet kit. If you do not jet it you can adjust your low speed scews if its running to leanat idle. As far as if a jet jit is easy to put in yes as far as tuning a jet kit that can be more difficult.
