exhaust help..
 

Hey f3's.. Got a question about the stock exhaust. Just got a stockexhaust today and mounted it up, but it dont reach the end of the headers? Theres like a 4inch gap in between not connecting together.. Wondering if theres another part supposed to connect them together or not? Mines a 97 600, and the exhaust is from a 98 600, but they match up for the part #'s. ANY IDEAS, THANKS ALOT!!!

I have a 97 F3, I just measured my stock muffler and it is 12" from can to end that attaches to header, heres a pic, hope it helps.

Yeah bro, my pipes the same measurement.. Your headers look like it has that extra 3-4in, right were its welded. so i guess its mny headers.. There was a two brothers exhaust, slip on and that fitted perfect but it busted. I still got the slip on just not the can? So looks like i need to get just a aftermarket can then. Well thanks for the help and pic, take care bro.
