I have an 06 Viper headlight sitting in my room with the projector and hid's and all that good stuff. My question is....... Has anyone tried/thought about taking the headlight apart and sanding all of the lines out of the lens??? I am going to put that projector with the hids in there, but I think that it would look better if it had a clear lens on it. I have never seen an aftermarket light for the 97-98 f3's with the euro clear lens. I'm thinking of trying it to an old light from a car, for practice. Should I use very fine sandpaper and wetsand it or what? I just want that clear look. Any inputs??

 

I love my f3 but i must admit, the headlite ispretty out of date when compared to the cat's eyes that the new ones have. Anything you can do to improve the look is awesome with me.
Do you have anylinks to the sort of look you are going for?

 

I dont have any links because I want this to be a one of a kind project. I just want to sand down the lines inside the lens to give it that clear look, so you can see the projector better.

i'm going to be doing the same thing to my bike in a few weeks. I'll keep you posted.
Although im going a different route. instead of sanding the lines off im going to make a new lense out of plexi i think.

 

I would like to do the same thing as these guys. I wonder if it could be done. Sanding sounds like it would the the easiest, opposed to modling plexiglass to fit, but who knows. if anyone else is interested in this mod or has done it please contribute.

 

i done it on a 94 civic headlight, i was plan on doing that on my f3, but i thought about just going with the f4i front, but if you have question, feel free to ask on the mod, very easy to do

 

i thought if you sand a head light it will be foggie it wont be clear unless you go threw a very hight thin grit then water polish the use mothers sanding polish maby to make it clear? it might not work i never seen it done
