to early to ride?

it's supposed to be warm here later this week and i want to go for a ride. the prob is besides getting down the snow covered drive is, here in Mich we use alot of chloride on our roads to keep the ice down, well the ice is way gone but there hasn't been a rain to wash the roads. my question is this deicer is in dust form but how much rust could this put on my bike like the pipe or other parts... the roads are way dry no snow or ice so its safe. any thoughts are appretiated...

give her a good wash after the ride,
and keep your chain lubed

And make sure you wash it everytime you take it out, i didnt wash mine a few times this year because didnt want the bike to freeze and my swingarm is paying for it now, its salt they put down here .... when they havnt run out again. :icon_no:

im gonna rider today. i honestly been riding almost every weekend. just keep your eyes pealed for salty spots and dont get to cocky in corners be ready to lean, move quick if u hit a dirt spot/salt, etc. and as always be safe and keep your chain and bike clean. salt seems to be pretty clear in the ny area now still on the shoulders but that dont bother me.
