Has anyone here seen an f2/f3 with dual exhaust? i am interesterd in having a custom set made by my friend but am unaware how it will affect my bike. would it run like crap? would you have to rejet the carbs to handled the new setup?

You may have to rejet based on how much flow you're looking to have. If it's just aesthetic appeal, then you might have some side effects without tuning the fuel delivery to go along.

 

I always thought that dual exhaust or single exhaust coming out up under the seat would be a cool trick to do on the F3...

There's a guy on here somewhere who put an R1 tail on his F3 and also used the stock dual R1 undertail exhaust. Looks pretty badass and he had a youtube vid of him bumping the throttle. The bike sounded pretty mean. Its on here somewhere... I'll see if I can dig it up.

thanks for replies. where would be the best places to get a jet kit? i have seen the stage 1 on the net for about 100. i would like to make it stage two but you have to buy the main jets as well? what size you someone guess in a flat area like las vegas? I havent rejeted in a while but i know its not too hard.
