Default dies at idle?

So even when my bike is hot and warmed up it is dying at idle unless i give it a little bit of choke, and then it idles just fine. What should I fix or change to solve this problem.

thanks!

What doyour idle RPM's look like? Setting should be 1200RPM + or - 100. If it's set correctly and still dying at idle, something's out of whack. Could be a number of different things... most likely your carbs are out of synch, or need to be cleaned. BTW, idle screw is located on the left side of the bike, just behind the fuel valve.

Osama: Yea it is sticking out just under the fuel shutoff and a little bit to the forward of the bike. about 3/4 in round. Its the only thing sticking out that looks like you can move it.

The air filter is located under the tank [sm=signs003.gif]
