kid you not my voltage regulator went out right before my cycle endorsement test so when i was on the starting line my battery killed on me. Didn't realize it was my regulator until after throwing in a new battery and having that die on me too lol. Ended up taking out just about all my fuses (lights,signal,horn ect) then jumping her just to get home. the dealer wanted $195.00 for a new regulator so i just took the one i have on my '94 cbr off and have been running like that since.

You can use a Suzuki GSX-R regulator rectifier on our bikes, with a little modification to the wiring and mounting. Our R/R has a tendacy to burn out pretty quick. The GSX-R's are larger and handles heat a whole lot better. And for you GSX-R riders who are probably reading this, THAT WILL BE THE LAST COMPLEMENT YOU WILL EVER HEAR FROM ME![:-] HONDA 4-LIFE!!!
