Default Crazy idea....

No peaking, you are going to have to open this one...

Ok, so I'm having a hard time finding the info I'm looking for.. Can I eliminate the shock pivot and go straight to the swing arm, or does it have to stay there ?

I'm talking about ditching the gold part in the pic and bolting the shock straight to the swing arm..

Ideas ?

That would have been useful info.. I need to lift the rear of the bike a good 3" or so.

1) Im pretty sure the bike would actuall sit lower if you could do it and 2) i think theres stuff in the way that would stop it swinging that far forward.

To jack mine up i got a set of £11 lowering links and turned them upside down.

Yer i know its a lil rusty in there but theres a new swingarm and shock going on soon anyway lol

Again the bike would just end up sitting lower.

It looks, from the way yours sits with the lowering link you have, that it probably would raise yours up an inch or so.

I'm just tripped out about the black link you have in there, if I had that I would be sitting sky high. Where did that come from ? Is it stock on the 95's ?
