Forget dragging the knee, drag the frame slider in the turns.

The new engine had HRC cams, it had also been ported and couple of other things including HRC ECU letting it rev up to 14,000 RPM now, its def a better motor!

Those frame sliders used to be twice as long when I first bought the bike but they were grinding out in the turns and almost caused me to crash as they take the weight of the bike and lift the front wheel off the road, had a very scary moment in qualifying so we took a hack saw to them before the race to prevent it happenign again.

Im sure I will have some more pictues as the season progresses, hopefully resulting with a picture of the bike with the championship winners trophy on the tank! :-D

It's amazing that you can lean it down to the point of low-siding and not drop it, you must really be attacking those corners super fast and have some amazing tires to right the bike once you're down there!

One hell of a rider, makes for some great pics!

Looks like you know what you're doing out there

Have you done something with your suspension to get it race ready?
My -97 feels a little mushy when I push it around the bends (on the road, ooops).
It could be that I'm a little too big at the moment (215lbs! Damn, I better get on the Atkins diet), and it puts a little extra strain on the whole bike.

Sorry, can't find the smileys to insert into post.
I have a Maxton race rear shock on the bike. The front end is all stock.

Race susspension makes all the difference. Although the shock itself is good, its the adjustment option you have that makes them so worth while.

Amazing what a click here and a turn there does for the bike set-up

Ya, i actualy like Michelins so might try Power Race. Would you be using soft at the front and med/soft rear?
Would you also know any good places in UK for race fairings for an F3. Have been looking for a while and the only once caould find cost an arm and a leg.
Cheers.
The Pirelli tyres have 3 compounds

SC1 - Super soft
SC2 - Soft
SC3 - Medium

In general, I always use an SC1 front and then either a SC1 or SC2 on the rear just depending on the conditions really. I never use an SC3, they are more for street riding.

Where in the US can I get one of those tails? All I can find is the type that uses the stock seat.

I ordered a set of race fairings from a16roadnrace i think the name is on ebay in uk.
I called him up before ordering and asked for standart front and 600RR '05 tail with out the cut out for standart seat unit.
Its on the way to me as we speak. Cant wait to resparay it yellow and black and to the track for a cracking track day to Kirkistown (fastest track in ireland). Have a look at the following video (was no spaces in advanced or intermidiate groups left so i was in beginers that day): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aydrnuYmpRA
