I got 50K out of my first clutch and it wasn't slipping. It was on the verge of needing replacement from measuring the thickness. I just did it before the clutch started slipping and caused damage to the clutch basket. I went with the OEM for springs, fibers, and steel. If you're in a really bad pinch, you can just replace fibers. Not a good idea though. One other thing, don't forget about the gasket.

Do the bike lurch forward more than it used to when you put it into gear?

If you have a rear stand put the rear up and put it into gear, pull the clutch in and give it a few RPMs. If the wheel spins, the clutch isn't disengaging 100%. A small amount of spinning is normal.

Every EBC clutch I've installed (3 or 4) always had these 2 symptoms. With cables adjusted properly. Maybe it was jsut my specific application (mostly dirt, but still honda), but the EBCs did it and the OE did not.
