It's a wet clutch, try putting oil in and starting her up, see what happens.

Isn't the main purpose of the oil for cooling?? With or with out oil it should still feel normal mechanically right?

I'm pretty sure that is its purpose? Obviously oil is a lubricant, that is also why it is used, but soaking the clutch components in oil also cools them (stabilizing them at a specific temp) I know the friction caused between the steels and friction plates is a lot hotter than the oil. Any input on my clutch cable issue?? I know I can not be the ONLY person who has had this happen? What about the possibily of the pressure plate? I know the spring bolts screw into it. I'm sure there is a discard spec, anyone know what it is?
