Default Changed clutch pads and springs

Hi peeps..... I just changed my clutch pads and springs for a set i got specifically for my bike and year and not the clutch lever is ridiculously loose, all seems to be right but the spring loaded rod that pushes the center of clutch basket isnt making contact....... Loosened the 4 springs until it made contact but then bike wouldnt move once in any gear...... Any help would be appreciated, otherwise im gonna try going back to old pads and springs to see if that works.??

Might just be my newbieness and i missed something but i think i done everything right.

By pads you mean the friction/steel plates?
Assuming you installed everything right, u could measure your old stack compare it with your new stack height, sometimes aftermarket ones even if stated for that specific bike is not the correct stack height. as in, problem could be the parts not your work.

I thought this, so went back to original and the problem is still there.... Gonna investigate behind the flywheel later amd see if anything has shifted that is supposed to keep the clutch release rod im position, and order a new cable just in case??

Having a spare new clutch cable is always nice, but it's probably not the cause if it worked fine before the job
If it worked fine with the old parts, you touched it, and then it does not work fine with the old parts, I would go over your work again. It can be tricky to get the rod engaged right. Let us know if you find the issue
BTW you did readjust the cable after reinstall right?

Adjusting the cable has had no effect at all, tried all combinations of adjustment at both ends.... I have taken the clutch basket out a few times now and have both the new and old parts in and still the rods are not making contact at all unless i push the spring loaded rod (located on the outside of the crankcase et the end of clutch cable) round further than it has ever gone before, more than it should go.....

Its parts 16 and 12 that are not making contact...... Is part 12 the rod that may not be inserted properly? As it just slides in i thought and thats all that i have done....... Does it slide into something behind the flywheel that keeps it from sitting flush to part 11.... Sorry for not knowing the names of the parts...

Dont know if this is relevent but bike still turns on and engine works fine, also can change into gear and through the gears by spinning rear wheel and pushing or pulling the gear change lever.

The rod I was talking about is the rod that sits in the clutch cover (Part #7 in this diagram). I don't know how it is specifically on the F3 but usually theres a groove or cutout in that rod that interacts with the push rod in order to disengage the clutch pack. If it's not aligned properly when reinstalled the clutch won't work right and its easy to get wrong as it's not really visible when installing. Maybe an F3 owner can chime in on the specifics of that one. For now can you maybe take a look at that part and understand how the pull rod in the clutch cover works with the clutch lifter piece, so you can make sure you are installing it right.

Do you have the service manual for your bike? link
Read over the relevant section and try going through it step by step.
You didn't remove the outer basket right?
