Mileage is not a real good indicator of wear, depends on how often & how well it was maintained & how much abuse it has been given. Check you wear indicator, if its near the end replace it.
Actually I recommend you replace it as a matter of course, just to be on the safe side, if you can afford it, its time to replace the sprockets as well.

Testing a used chain
Take a used chain and lay it on a hard surface like a garage floor.
Place the chain flat on the floor and grab each end of the chain and pull the ends toward each other.
A good chain will make a 1/4 of a circle or less, a junk chain will make a 1/2 circle or more.
