I have seen RK sprocket and chain on ebay for 60.00 but that was about a month ago. They are usually 150.00. I think brandonlee_6980is asking a very reasonable price though.

Replacing a chain is not a difficult task, but it requires the proper tools. You should use a riveted style of masterlink, as opposed to a clip type link. Motion Pro makes a great tool for under $100. Yea I know paying that much for a tool that you only use every once in a while is hard to justify, but think of it as an investment. It will be there in the future when you need it. I'd get the combination tool that is a press and riveter. As for making it easy, EK Chains come with a metal spacer that you insert behind the side plate on the master link while you're pressing it on. It prevents you from pressing the side plate on too far and squishing the "O" ring too much. Here are some before and after shots of installing the side plate.

For how much to flare the ends of the pins, I measured the size of the factory rivets, then flared the end of the master link rivets to match.

Hope this helped a little.

And I would highly suggest an impact wrench. I was unsuccessful at getting the front sprocket off with just myself. I bought an impact wrench and its a whole lot faster and easier. Good luck, its not that hard.
