chain oil
Hi Guys help needed, i have got myself a f3 but have left her standing outside covered up for a couple of weeks and just noticed the chain is starting to get light rust on it, i will oil it up but i'm not sure wot sort to get ?? any info would be good

Ive always used DuPont Teflon multi-use spray. Its a bit of an ongoing debate though as to which lube to use and which is the best, as there are alot of different types out there. Put it in google and youll see the discussions over the stuff youll see what I mean lol.
I also use this and Lowes used to carry it, but not anymore.
Some Tru-Value Hardware stores can order it if it's not on their shelves.
i was lucky enough to get the manual with this bike when i bought it, and under the 'Lubrication and cleaning' sub heading of the drive chain section it says exactly this.
"Wipe dry and lubricate only with SAE 80 or 90 gear oil. Commercial chain lubricants may contain solvents which could damage the rubber O-rings."
before all that it talks about the o ring chain and how it works and how to avoid damaging it etc
i pesonally use a commercial chain lubricant that says its safe for o rings, but if you want oil then i guess its the 80 or 90 gear oil
