No, it's a '97. When the bikes clean, it looks amazing. It's one of my favorite color schemes (next to red of course).

I'm about to install a centerstand on an F2. Can you tell me where the spring hooks up to?

If its the same as an F3, then the spring hooks to a curved piece of metal, and then the curved piece of metal hooks to a metal hook that's welded to the frame.

Gonna bump this one, I just ordered one of these for my 97' F3 off of eBay from Germany. It looks like it will take about 3 weeks or so to come to the states. I will attach some photos because I was a little concerned over the same part number being used for the stand itself on multiple years, yet they looked different. On one the fulcrum point of shaft is right at the top, and the other the shaft looks to be about an inch below the top point. I ordered this based on the model year of the donor bike matching the same as mine. It looks from the pictures I will need the curved spring plate and rubber stopper. If anyone can look at these pics and let me know if I indeed ordered the correct one, that would be great. I didn't pay all that much for it luckily. Thanks in advance!
