Cbr 600 runs but will not go over 55
My 96 f3 runs good but won't get over 55MPh and back fires like it's getting to much air I found that the two canisters seen in the picture are not there and the vent solenoid in the middle is not hooked up can that be my whole issue
Somewhere on this site someone shows the proper hose routeing for the slow speed ram air elimination modification. Try the search function. Dont quote me on this but I believe there was a electric thingy that switched a valve when the bike is moving more than 12 mph, then switched it back when bike slowed to less than 12 mph. I dont see the valve in your pictures, which is fine, since most people eliminated the slow speed part of it, which removes the valve anyhow. Maybe your hose/hoses are not hooked up to the ram air. They need to be, they pressurize the float bowls so fuel will still flow when all that air ramming down in your air box from flying down the road will force the fuel backwards=too much air not enough fuel. Get yourself a Haynes, Clymer, or Honda shop manual, worth their weight in gold.
