CANT SHIFT TO THIRD GEAR HELP PLEASE!!!!!!
 

i put my side stand down and went to go get gear but as soon as i steped inside the garage my bike dropped.....

i piked it up right away while turning the engine off and then i turn it on again and go for a little ride to c if everythings ok...1st gear is fine 2nd gear is fine also...but i try to go to third but it jus wont get into third for some reason...and of course the rest of the gears...this is pissing me off...guys plz help!!!!

someone said if my shift linkage is bent or something but im not sure if it is...the shift pedal and the linkage bar have no space im between them...as u can c here...

Hi there, the same thing happened to me yesterday evening. I unloaded my CBR out of the back of my truck and it fell going down the ramp I use for my 4-wheeler!! I was riding it around and it wouldn't shift out of 2nd into 3rd and I'm thinking WTF!!! I looked on here for some answers and found your post. So I looked at mine and sure enough, the shift arm was bent in just like in your pictures. I'm not sure if this is an "authorized" repair, but I bent the shifter back out to straight, rode it around and problem solved!! Good luck!
