I have an f3 that needs an engine, but can't find an f3 engine around me for the life of me. I have found an f4i engine, what kind of problems would I run into with a swap like this. Can I make the f4i carbed or would I need to find the computer and other misc. parts for the f4i engine.

just seems to me that you would need the ECU from an f4i because the engine is fuel injected, not carbed. among other things. im no motorcycle guru, but seem to me that you would need the ECU of an f4i to make an f4i engine work

 

yep you will need the ecu that is a must, as for everything else i don't see why it wouldn't just work out, but hey if you do it let us know how it goes...
