Personally I would get a buddy who had a compressor and either take the opportunity to learn to paint or at the very least rattle can it all the same. Duplicolor makes some great rattle can colours and if you take your time and properly wet sand and clear it it can look amazing! Hell for that matter flat black it or make it into a street fighter....

So it looks like almost a consensus.
I do have a compressor and a paint gun - just have never used it before. But I really like the schemes done by Honda better than all one solid color.

I was telling myroomie I was going to do this with my 1000, except I called it "harlequin" like the VW MkIII Golfs that had every body panel a different color. He cares a lot what other people think about appearances and thought people would make fun of it. I don't give a **** what other people think, it would look badass.

Sounds good - I guess what I was thinking is that even the maintenance doors would be from a different style as would the fender, the wheels different colors from each other, the middle tail piece would not match either side, the front sides different from the front middle and also different from the sides. Tank different from the rest, etc...
