I'm pondering upon using a friend of mine's metal working skills to build a custom cage for me, the question i have is where can i mount a cage to my frame? its a 97 f3, and ive got a couple of ideas of where it could mount, but just wanna see where other cage's go or where might be some weak/strong spots...I wanna say i know drillin a mount in the frame would be bad, am i correct in that thinkin? the only real strong 'support' spots i can figure would be the front motormount's and the centerstand brace's under the bike(behind fairing's) seem's liek sturdy spot's but doenst quite look like it would support the upper region of the bike very well...any ooopppinions? maybe some pic's of anybody who's got an f3 with a cage?
