Oh yeah, let's see some pics!

I just bought a used 96 F3...the front break pads are pretty warn..is it hard to change them by myself, and what would be the best way to find out how to do them and the tools to use. also how often should the break fluid and coolant be flushed on these bikes. would it be smart to do all that as well, it has 15000 miles. I am not sure of the previous record for maintenance on the bike.

You can replace the fluids every couple of years... the brake fluid shouldn't need changed that often, but just check it.

The brakes are as easy to replace as... brakes! You ever change disc brakes on a car? Much simpler, and you don't have to jack the bike up!

Unless you live in Southern California, I wouldn't worry about flushing the fluids. You're prolly not going to be putting too many miles on it before you put 'er up, first thing next Spring, FLUSH!

Here's a manual for your bike, the same bike I have actually! Paul Square linked me to it first, but I believe he credited it to someone else (thanks anonymous dude!). It's a big help and very nice to have, 'specially if you have a laptop!

brake fluid every two years, as well as coolant. Brake fluid reacts with the aluminum in the system over time and creates aluminum oxied...yes, the same stuff grinding wheels are made off. Coolants additives are get depleated after time, regardless of climate. The system take well under 1 gallon.

Replacing pads is SUPER easy on a bike....you need like two metric sockets. Don;t forget to push teh brake pistons back before you take out the old pads.
