The 97/98 F3 came stock with Bridgestone Battle Axes. It was a good tire for mileage mainly. On my original tires, I got 7K out the rear and 12K out the front. Your better off sticking with the Dunlops though because they get excellent mileage and are sticky once warmed up. Man... your F3 looks damn near new and especially with 9500miles on it!! Ahh yes... the memories of having a new bike. I bought mine with 1 mile on it and I've been riding it 44K miles later. You got yourself an excellent bike to start with! You would have been bored with the Ninja 250 a couple weeks after buying it and started looking around for something bigger, especially when your buddy on the RR is leaving you in the dust. The F3 isextremely forgiving and it can takeone hell of abeating. Just change the oil and service it according to service intervals and the bike will last forever. Oh... by the way, excellent job on the shopping.
