Default Bogging Down

I have a 95 CBR F3 that is bogging down. It starts bogging down around 4k RPM's in 2nd gear and up. I can try and force it up but eventually it just loses power and dies when I squeeze the clutch. Will pretty much start right back up(as in I don't have to crank the motor a lot or give it a lot of choke if any). When I bought the bike in March I stripped it down to just motor and frame and started by changing all the fluids and cleaned the carbs out(needles and floats are good). Had to replace the stator bought a new K&N Filter(recommended by the local shop cause of the jet kit and exhaust and because of a post I read on here with very similar issues). It starts just fine. Idles around 1200. Revs up just fine. It drove just fine until I put the fairings back on. That's when it started bogging down. Short of tearing into the motor I've done everything except sync the carbs, check compression and replace the coils and spark plug wires. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Hope this is enough info for some feedback. I've read so much but nothing seems to point me in the right direction. I'm going today to take the fairings off and see if it runs normal again. Thanks again!!

What jets do you have and mods like exhaust. Prob a dumb question but have you checked the petcock and fuel filter?

Ive done the "why do i keep stalling" Ohh my petcocks off!! Not always a pita problem sometimes just a DOH! moment. Take the fairings off one by one looking carefully and try to see if the problem is obvious. Maybe something got pinched or left off. Start with the simple, as its usually were it lies.

I figured it out. It was something VERY simple. Dang ram air hose were behind the fairings. Thanks anyway. It's my first bike. Spent the day riding and LOVED. Going to be a great summer!! Anoth question though is there a way to figure out what kind of jet kit it is? I didn't think to ask the guy and I no longer have his number. It has a D&D exhaust.

Glad to hear you found the problem, we all have those moments. As far as the jet kit goes, i have no idea. Maybe someone else can chime in on that. Good Luck with the bike, This is my first CBR also.

You would have to be pretty knowledgeable about carbs. There's a guy where I live who can look at them and tell. Ill say if they did them right you can go to dynojet.com and there's a calculator that is very accurate to find your jet size. I just did my carbs and the previous ower had them off 4 points
