FYI, anyone ever have the rubber boot or cap come off the carb sync port yet?
Bike started to run rough on the low end when pulling away from stop lights.
So I tore the bike down to clean the carbs and I found the #4 cylinder carb sync boot missing.
I found the cap/boot down by the starter.
I cleaned it up and slipped it back on, synced the carbs and it runs great!
I must not have placed it back on the post completly the last time I synced the carbs.
Just an FYI forthe next time your F3 runs rough on the low end is to check those boots!

I figured out what happened!
I like to do hooligan stuff when riding my Supermoto or my F3.
I guess you all know the CBR600 F3 will backfire on demand!
And what I like to do is when I spot a kid walking on the sidewalk or abicyclist hogging the road I will run the F3 up to 5th or 6thgear around 45-55 mph turn the kill switch off and coast till I am right next to the target and thenturn on the kill switch on and Bang, a loud backfire.
I do this in the hood a lot and it's great watching kids duck for cover or roll on the ground thinking it's a drive by.
So I must have blown my rubber boot off the sync port while backfiring.
