these t-rex stands are nice. they look well constructed. im going to be buying a set here in a while(i need to see if cash permits though, damn snow forced me to miss about 2 days of work) although if you cant afford the pitbull stands the steel horse fabrications stands are great and they are a tad bit cheaper also built in usa... these stands got great reviews.

I've been using my stands from MJ Moto Gear for over a year now. Never had a problem with them at all. I've even jumped on the bike and I weight 215.

I made a post similar to this looking for a stand for my f3, you would have had to search in off-topic however. I heard a lot of good things about T Rex stands, as people here have also said. They are reasonably priced, check them out.

How do those front stands work? I've seen them but I never knew how they hold the bike up.

Also, what did you have to do to put spools on your swingarm? Anything special, or just drill tap and go?

You have to trim the air intake tube just below the lower triple tree. Just enough to see the hole for the stem. The front stand has a pin that just slides in and picks up the front end.

To put the spools on the swing arm. I drilled and tapped the hole but also have a fender washer and nut on the inside. I did that for extra security.

Exclamation

ok so attempting to purchase the t-rex stands today only to get confused and hella angry at the website. it has two different price listings(151 vs 129 you would pick the cheaper one wouldnt you?). for the "combo" stands they are $151 taxes and all. i gotta pay shipping and state taxes because im in texas(bs) then i deleted the "combo" stands and picked out single stands for a little cheaper and they are the chrome ones. what gives here? i looked at both and they seem to fit my bike. im just curious of the $30 price difference in the stands.

Chrome T-Rex Rear Motorcycle Stand Universal, F4, F4i, YZF600R, non-spooled, S-$54.95
Chrome T-Rex Front Motorcycle Stand V -39.95
total with shipping and state sales tax- $129.79

i wanted the silver ones at first but idk now
Silver T-Rex Front and Rear Motorcycle Stands Universal, F4, F4i, YZF600R, non-spooled, V- $114.90
shipping and sales tax- $151.44

Thumbs down

So not sure if anyone is keeping up with this thread, BUT ive been switching emails back and forth through a lady named "hannah" over at trex racing for the stands id like. but they gave me the run around on the chrome stands and she finally told me today that they are having a sale on them and will no longer be making the chrome stands(WOW that only took two damn days to say anything now their sold out of front stands and only have a couple rear chrome stands. gezzzz ) Im debating on still buying anything from t-rex. but unfortunatly they are the only cheap *** stand company i can afford right now...

motorcycle lifts anyone? I found these at harbor freight I might try one of them out. I also found a rear race stand there as well for $37. I might pick that up but im scared it wont hold up. these motorcycle lifts look decent.

I know someone who had a harbor freight rear stand, and it did the job, but it would slightly bend if you sat on the bike while on the stand. Personally, I wouldn't trust the stand.

I just can't understand spending all this money on my bike, and then throwing it up on a stand that may or may not hold the bike up. PUT UP THE MONEY AND DO IT THE RIGHT WAY!

Additionally, I hope you realize that motorcycle lift is for bikes that can be lifted from the center...........
