Thankyou I will see what I can find out this evening. I just want something that has good quality at a reasonable price that will last.

I use a trackside rear stand, works great. Especialy since i installed some rear spools. I never trusted that it wouldn't slide off the paddle style rear stands.

@BPWilson - How did you mount your spools on the swingarm? isnt the swingarm kinda thin? did you use reinforcement?

any one else know a good way to mount spools to swingarm?

I did the same thing as BPWILSON. I put mine at the front of the axle, so the back end wasn't really up in the air. I just use a fender washer inside to help spread the weight.

Can't remember if i used a washer on the inside or not. Basically just eye balled it and drilled a whole in the outer portion of the swing arm. Tried to make both side's as even as possible. I think i came pretty close for just best guessing it lol. I didn't ever plan on sitting on the bike while it was on a stand so i wasn't too woried about reinforcement. However i'm only like 160lbs so wasn't really an issue.

By looking at these T-Rex stands, it looks like you assemble them. I bought a stand I had to assemble and it is flimsy as ****. When the bike is on it, the stand flexes and the wheels come off the ground (the stand wheels). Are the T-Rex stands sturdy?

I almost bought a Pit Bull stand yesterday for $135, but then I remembered this thread.

Buy a TREX stand, best bang for your buck.
I put my bike on the stand by myself all the time, just hold the back of the bike and push down with your foot. Takes 5 seconds....

I bought the beefy version of biketek front and rear stands. I haven't had a problem with them. First time ever using stands so it took some getting used to. They are very cheap feeling but they get the job done. I've had my bike on them since november and I haven't come home from school to see my bike on the ground. I think I paid $88 total shipped for both of them.

Go with a Pitbull. I used to think they were overpriced until I got one for my front end several months ago. The thing is quality built in the USA and very nice. Well worth the cost and I would not have even hesitated buying it if I'd known it was built here and not some cheap Chinese import.
