Bike engine stalled while riding on highway and won't crank (start)
Hi Everyone, I have a CBR600 F3.
I was riding on the highway, then all of a sudden my engine shut off (lights were still on).
I pulled over to the shoulder and tried to crank it. The only response was the lights would dim, but she wouldn't even try turning the engine. Not a single sound.
I got her towed home and tried to crank her again (made sure the emergency shut off wasn't engaged), and still nothing (just the lights dim and that's all).
I tried hooking her up to two different boosters, but that didn't solve any issues.
I checked her fuses (all good), checked the oil level (good), and checked the electrical wire that connects from the carbs to the bike (solid connection).
I cleaned her carbs recently, if that helps with any diagnostics you may have.
Any hints will be appreciated. I'm going to start looking through the repair book soon, but just wondering if anyone had a similar issue.
Thanks
