yup, this is really my first bike, butI rode it when I was at college, I also did all the mods, so now I am getting it back from my brother.






would have loved to get a bigger bike, but since I haven't been riding in so long, the 600 will have plenty of power for now.

Yes the f3 is a great bike!! Good power, very reliable and fun as hell to toss through the twistys. I recommend the 520 conversion with -1 +2 gearing and a set of michelin pilot powers.

 

never did anything with the gearing, but would def be interested in learning more about it. What exactly does the conversion do?

might be a while before I go with more tires, as it just got some new pirelli's before it was shipped.

 

The 520 conversion is a lighter chain hence giving you less rotating mass and it has a higher tinsel strength than stock. -1 tooth on the front sprocket and +2 teeth on the rear sprocket gives you approx 12 percent more low end torque = quicker acceleration. If you do the 520 you MUST get new sprockets to match the 520 pitch. The different gearing will also throw off your speedo so I recommend a speedohealer.
