I"m looking forward to repainting my bike too, but the project won't start until winter. Looks awsome though.

BTW: how did your friend take off the decals from the tank? I'm going to do this myself so i'll need some tips.

Thx

I just repainted my bike as well.. to take out the decals.. u need a heat gun or hair dryer.. let it heat it up for a couple seconds, and while its still hot then start to peel. Your going to need to keep it warn to be able to peel it off. Adhesive should be left.. just use some adhesive remover or degreaser to take it out.. or... just sand it down if you got the strength.. =)..

mmmmm....that's how I did all of them except the ones on the tank. On the tank I used a grinder with 80 grit sandpaper and just took the decals off and scuffed up the tank.

I'm finishing up redoing my bike right now actually. I'm up here on the forum while my wheels, and swing arm are baking in the oven after the base coat to my candy red powder coating that they're getting. I'll try and post some pics up after I get it all put back together sometime before next weekend. CAN'T WAIT TO RIDE IT! Sorry just haven't ridden since last year...haha.
