I just picked up a F3 with less miles on it than this one NEW tires and in better condition for 2700. This guy would be lucky to get 2 grand for that bike.

That unless he's willing to come down about 1/2 of that price he won't be selling it anytime soon.

even at half that price he would be lucky to sell it, especially this time of the year, in the spring...possibly.

Ha, yeah I think the asking price may just be a psychological sales technique. "Oh, you offer $3,000 o.k. i'll take it". Which I don't think it's even worth that. I've seen some REALLY nice 900rr's on craigslist going anywhere from $1,800-$3,000.
