Another good day working on the bike...
Today I install the HID headlight....which is acting kinda weird...I've popped 2 fuses so far with it. Seems to happen if I turn the ignition off and back on before its warmed up. I replaced the fuse with a 15, from a 10, see how it goes. Might have gotten a bad unit.
Installed and programmed the DiGi gear indicator. Was easy enough to program while riding on a back road.
Did the easiest coolant flush and fill I've ever done. Pulled the drain plug, drained it, pour water through the rad cap to get more old stuff out, replaced gasket, reinstalled plug, filled. Bled the air out. Took like 15 minutes. Nice.
Installed the APE manual cam chain tensioner. That was easy. Nice unit. No more noise.
Found out my chain isnt rust and dull gray colored, its actually silver and gold. Previous owner apparently didnt do much with it. Used tiki torch oil from Walmart, worked great. Dried it, warmed it up with a quick ride and lubed well with HondaLube. All the rollers moved freely, o-rings all in good shape.

not hard at all. Took off upper cowl. unplugged the 2 dash harnesses. Used razor blade to strip insulation from the needed wires. Soldered DiGi wires into place. Mounted indicator.
They recommend doing the programming on a center stand or rear stand. Dont have either with me out here (not home), so I just went out on a 'not busy' back road. Took less than a minute of riding to program the gears.
