Aftermarket mirrors?

Back when I'd an F2 (now on an f4i), I bought a set of aftermarket integrated turn signal mirrors.
My experience of them? They are trash. Utter, utter trash. To start with, vibration at speed was a problem. One was worse then the other, but at speed it rendered them pretty much useless. Safety wise it's not ideal to have mirrors you can't trust. It gets worse however. I ride in all conditions. On my second run in heavy rain (torrential and for over 1 hour), the adhesive pad that held the mirror to the plasic mirror housing stopped working. The mirror started to vibrate and slide off. Thankfully it got me home. I made a note to araldite the mirror to the body. Fate saved me however. The massive weight of my bike cover (Oxford mid range) on the mirror stalks caused the left hand one to snap. There is a steel rod that runs *almost* the full length of the stalk. Helpfully, it stops just short of the fixing bracket (where the mirror bolts to the bike), meaning that the mirror has an amazing quick release mechanism as the cheap plastic stalk snaps pretty much under the weight of gravity. As an added bonus, the indicator wires held firm allowing the mirrors one last hurrah, scratching my custom painted fairings.
The mirrors looked cool, but functionality and durability are limited at best. Chinese brake levers were exceptionally good, but the mirrors? A waste of money.

Put my ebay mirrors on with turn signals on couple weeks ago. I went with the mirror signals because I just couldn't bring myself to drill through the new paint .
They shake a tiny bit, and had some problems at first under hard acceleration the right one would tuck back in, but they work fine now!
And yes I know they're upside down. Long story.
