Tack the mesh in place with hot glue, then get epoxy to hold it firm

Default Mesh Screen

Hey Madeincanada!

I took your idea and added some mesh to the old dog and IMHO I think it turned out pretty good!

It's painted aluminum gutter mesh held in place with heavy duty extra strength hot glue.

I laid the panels on a table and traced out the holes onto printer paper, cut out a template and then transfered the cut out on the aluminum and then cut out the pattern on the mesh.

The template helped me to get the mesh close to the hole size and then I glued a section at a time, cut, fit, trim, glue and then I worked my way around the hole.

Thanks for the suggestion, $25.00 bucks in supplies, a few hours a couple of nights this week and it's done!

I picked up my mesh at lowes in the lumber area. It comes in a large sheet and is about 7 bucks.
