Does anybody know of a body panel manufacturer that produces the (twin vent) access panel that goes between the lower and the upper fairings? They seem to be in crappy condition on ebayor ridiculously expensive. If I'm going to pay that much I want new. The after market bodies have that piece molded in. I have stock panels but can't seem to find a set of decent used access panels. Thanks. I know,,,,,,, My sig says I have an F2 but it's wearing F3 body panels.

Yea, they are an expensive part for what they are. But the advantage of going new is they already have the decals and they're painted to an exact match. I guess not too bad for just under $70 each considering all that.

Directly from Honda. You can go to this site, Service Hondaand in the middle of the screen it says click here to begin. It opens up a Terminal Services window to the acutal Honda Digital Microfiche. Select your year, model and locate the part. Or go here and enter this part number 64354-MAL-A00ZB. Its the left side of a 97 Purple (Type 2) like my wife has. This one is $71.14.
Good luck...
