Acceleration Problems
Hello all I am josh and I am new to this site and this is my first post. To get right to it I recently bought a 1995 CBR 600 F3. It is my first motorcycle. My problem is that when I put it in gear and give it some throttle it doesn't seem to get up and go. It will go about 15mph-20mph and that's it. I changed the spark plugs today, which were horrible. The gas pump is working correctly, I believe the clutch is working correctly. Just not understanding why when I give it some throttle it doesn't take off like it is suppose to. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
The bike revs and the rpm goes up but the bike will not respond like it use to. The bike has not been sitting. Im not sure what bogging is. When i put it in first and give it some throttle it sounds as it is going but it will not get up and go. Someone told me it could be the clutch cable. Does that sound right?
Could be slippage (I think that's what you were describing), but it doesn't make sense unless you tinkered with it.
Did you adjust anything? What else did you do besides change the plugs?
Can you post a video of it?

Sorry for such a late response but i have changed the clutch springs now when i squeeze the clutch it feels tighter but still will not go passed 25mph. And also having problems starting but i think i found the problem to that. looks like something burned up? do you think that is why it is not starting?
Also on the bottom of the tank there is suppose to be three hoses connected. i have the fuel line connected, i have the drainage hose connected but where does the other go. people say a vacuum line goes there and other say its a breather line. Just can not find where the line hooks into or is it just run to the bottom of the bike like the other line does?
